Starlink report from the seamounts

 

1 for 3 on blue Marlin and 1 for 1 on sailfish today on fly hook the last Marlin just before dark fight it all the way true dark ended up pulling the hook

5 for 9 on sailfish 3 for 3 on mahi mahi today 
seamounts sound like they are firing off, getting ready to head that direction

Day tripping pretty good.

Saturday we did not see a billfish, but the focus was on the tunas. 
Sunday, to show that there are some billfish around, we were 7 for 9 on sailfish. 
Couple of good days on the water with some great folks.

Tough last day at the seamounts.

 

Tough day for us today raised two blue Marlin that didn't eat the fly jump off a sailfish and that was our day

Almost a grand slam on the fly

 Not the first time Nikki has caught a grand slam on the fly on the Dragin Fly and she almost did it again.

Another blue marlin on the fly

 another successful seamount trip. 

Two blue marlin on the fly and coming home a day early with mission accomplished


"the first day was slow  for us raised two blue Marlin no bites then we move to some other seamounts that night woke up yesterday morning had three quick bites catch two raised about three our four more then our clients wanted to come home he had his dream done catching those two blue Marlin"

Seamount trip

 A couple of days of very slow fishing at the seamounts, but captain James landed on them the last day, releasing two blue marlin and one sailfish on the fly!
