All the difference a day makes

That's the way it is this time of year.   Saturday was wet and a little like fishing offshore in NC.  Absolutely completely fishable, but not the calm Pacific seas we get used to in Costa Rica nor the big numbers of bites.   Sounds like Saturday was pretty tough. 

Below the report from Sunday: 

"One of the best days on the water ever.  Not the most fish in one day but we had so much fun.  3 sails, 3 tuna, Bonitos, and a shark.  Weather was great.  

 You should know that you have the best crew and captain I’ve ever fished with.  "

Last week's seamount trip

 Just before this trip we had another 3 day trip. 

Raised 29 blue marlin, 10 bites and caught 7 on 20 pound fly tackle

Well the fishing was slow raised 32 blue marlin had 6 bites catch 1 raised 3 sailfish had 2 bites catch 1

   Monday, June 7, 2021  
First seamount trip of the season

 This was a 3 night/3 day seamount trip. 

Night 1 departing in the afternoon in time for some fishing before sunset

    Caught 2 sails and a mahi the first night on the way out.

Day 1/Night 2 at the seamounts 

    First day we had a triple grand slam with 3 stripies, 3 sails, 4 blues, plus a big dorado.

Day 2/Night 3 at the seamounts

    Second day we had 9 blues and 3 sails.

Day 3 at the seamounts, returning to Los Suenos in the afternoon. 

    This morning we caught 2 sails, a blue and a Dorado.  

In totatl: 

 14 blue marlin

10 sailfish

3 striped marlin 

3 mahi
