Jake's last fly report of the season

On this two day trip they raised 20 blue marlin for 11 bites on IGFA 20# fly tackle and 5 fly rod blue marlin releases.   0 for 1 on striped marlin 1 for 1 on sailfish and a load of little yellowfins.

Congrats to Capt. Jake who caught his 65th blue marlin on the fly rod.

seamount report

Good 3 day trip with 35 blue marlin teased to the back of the boat, 27 bites and 17 released blue marlin, 2 sailfish releases and a fresh mahi for dinner.   Only casualties of the trip were a Tyrnos 50 with rod and a Go Pro now at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

another great day trip before......

......heading back out to the seamounts for our last fly rod trip scheduled for the season.   After this last trip we'll start tugging on them a little harder.

3 sails, a nice mahi and a blue marlin to top off the day.  Fly rod report from the seamounts in a couple of days.

weekly report

another great seamount trip on the fly and weekend day trip.

Seamount tally over three days, 30 blue marlin raised to the spread, 17 bites on the fly, landing 7 blue marlin on 20# IGFA fly tackle.  Jake's complete report and pics at the customer comments

Raised over 40 blue marlin in 3 days, 20 bites and released 15 blue marlin on IGFA 20# fly tackle.  See Jake's complete report at customer comments. 

next day on a day trip, Dragin Fly caught a blue, 3 sails, 5 dorado and 5 tuna.   good fishing both directions continues.
