Big Day
No big days for us in the tournament, but still having some big days on the water. This was a pretty big deal for 12 year old Mr. Parkin
Marlin are showing back up, still plenty of tunas, but they were a little finicky on this big moon. Had a great day bottom fishing on the Dragin Fly with plenty of groupers and snappers for dinner.

upcoming tournament
Last leg of the triple crown. I'm going to sit this one out and ride upstairs with James, Berto and Pat will be manning the cockpit. Should be fun. Looking for one big day! .....then another.

report
The sailfish bite still remains a little slack but is showing signs of improvement. Ahead of the sails we are also getting another wave of marlin with daily shots at blues and a few striped marlin in the mix. Tuna fishing continues to be excellent with daily dorado. All in all, the boys are scrapping up some good trips.

whew,
That was a tough tournament. One of these days we are going to end up the hero instead of the zero.
For the charter fishing, it's still pretty good, just a long ride. We will go where we need to go to get them. The last few days we have averaged 5-8 sails per day, a dorado or two and about every other day a blue marlin. We have not messed with the tunas, but there are some around and I am ready for some sushi.
We are very busy through April with the seamount season starting to fill up. Also now booking for 2019.

tougher day
getting pretty tired of playing the hero or zero game and ending up on the short end of things. Oh well, we covered a lot of water looking for something that we could not find. The best of it has been in one area and it has been staying pretty crowded during this tournament.

tough day
6 sails out of not too many more bites. Practice was much better. Wish us luck tomorrow
