on the way to the awards

......to congratulate the winnners.
Three minutes after lines in the water we released our first sail, but could not hold on to the lead with 21 sailfish releases for the day.  We only missed 3 sails so our hook up ratio was impressive.   The minature striped marlin that we missed 3 times in the same turn hurt us.  That one costs us the daily and potentially third place.   It does feel good to be a little more competitive.

Saving the day

Blue marin like this one have been saving a lot of days, the big numbers of sailfish that we had last year have not yet materialized, but almost daily shots at blue marlin and plenty of tuna are keeping lines tight.
