we raised 4 sailfish and one mahi today and 1 blue marlin, but only catch 2 sailfish and a mahi. Unfortunatley the blue one jumped off.......but at least we got to see him jump

A minor motor problem
Saw some tarpon yesterday morning, but after 4 hours and no bites we charged offshore only to have a suscpicious metal on metal knocking noise in the powerhead.......we backed her down and started idling home only to run accross a big school of drum, just couldn't get close enough to them with that motor knocking the way it was, can't imagine what it sounded like under water.
Here are some pics from some recent mixed bag trips up the river with Capt. Gary.
Gene and the guys at Mobile East Marine in Bayboro will have me up and running soon, in the meantime, the other guides are covering for me, I got to ride along with Capt. Ray this morning. Two guides for the price of one. Saw a few tarpon, found those drum again, but we got 'em this time, catching 7 big 'uns.

fishing the last couple of days
No sailfish on day one, but plenty of yellowfin, at least something to pull the string.
Yesterday was a bit better, couple of sails and we stopped on some rocks for 3 very nice red snapper for dinner.
