Capt. James says that they're getting their hook up practice, raising 20 today, catching 8 sails and 4 nice yellowfin

August fishing ain't too bad....

From Capt. James:

"there are some sailfish around. Today we raised 14 sails, but the hook up ratio was a little rusty, we just released 6, but we got even with the tuna. We found a large school at the end of the day and catch 17 nice yellowfin tuna. The guys had a great time."

no black, but got the blue

Got a customer down looking for a black marlin....he didn't get him today, maybe tomorrow, he did get a nice blue marlin, 3 sails and 3 yellowfin tuna.

pick up trip

worked out just right for the guys who booked a last minute charter, everyone catching a sailfish and dorado for dinner, on the way in they stopped for some inshore fishing and got a big roosterfish and some jacks......plenty of action.

Back in the water

The Dragin Fly was hauled out for the last couple of weeks for regular maintanence. Wer're back in the water and ready to go fishing, sounds like things have been pretty good, lots of tuna and raising double digit sails.
