bye bye green water?

The best of the sailfish bite was way out there but the guys made the run on Friday, catching 23 sails and 3 nice dolphin.

Yesterday they went on a big overnight adventure to the Furuno Reef, catching 31 sails, 37 snapper, 8 aj's, 1 dolphin and 1 nice 300 pound blue marlin.

Captain James said that the fish were moving much closer with clean water only 25 miles from the marina.

back in the action

After some very slow fishing, things picked up a bit, catching 7 sails and 2 nice dolphin on April 10.

green water and grouper

Some green water has moved in, making the sailfish a little tough. I just got this pic from Mauricio, our transportation coordinator, who rode a long with a group this past week. They caught 4 sails and on the way in, this big grouper.

back in the states

Although I'm back in the states for a few weeks, the crew of the Dragin Fly is still going hard, catching 4-10 sails/day. A little "green water" has showed up, but there are still enough sailfish and "clean water" to make for decent days.
