marlin bite
Really good fishing, I just spoke to Capt. James and they've been doing pretty good, catching marlin each of the last 3 days, plus 7/8 sailfish each day, plus 3-7 dolphin each day and 3 tuna on day 1. Can't wait to get down there and send you some pics.

the good fishing continues
I can't wait to get down there and be a part of it all. The Dragin Fly is averaging 8-10 sails and a marlin each day, plus enough dolphin for dinner and enough tuna for a sushi feast.

Our first big tournament
We were honored to have been chartered by Larry Drivon and Mainor Oporto for the WBS Grand Championship this week. Fishermen from all over the world have fished in tournaments from Costa Rica to North Carolina and beyond for the opportunity to fish in this event.
There are two anglers/boat who compete for two days. The top 5 anglers fish on Day 3on seperate boats for the title of World Champion.
Larry is the owner of our sister boat, the Super Fly and Mainor, last year's WBS World Champion is the first mate on our other sister boat, the Spanish Fly.
Day 1 Mainor was in first place with 1 marlin(400 points each) and 5 sails(100 points each), Larry was in 2nd place with 1 marlin and 4 sails.
Day 2 Mainor held the lead in points with Larry in 3rd place. We were thrilled to put 2 of the top 5 anglers in the championship.
Day 3 The top 5 anglers start at zero for the one day competition. Larry stayed on the Dragin Fly, but the bite was a little finicky and he landed 6 of the 25+ sails raised. Mainor fished with his home crew on the Spanish Fly and caught 6 of the 11 sails they raised. Mainor and Larry finished in 2nd and 3rd place.
Congratulations go to Pat Logue who won the event with 2 sails(100pts each) and 2 marlin(400 pts each).
We are very proud of the team that we have put together and are thrilled with their performance. Many thanks to Capt. James, Alberto and Chela, you guys did a great job!
